I-35 Construction
If your commute to the theater involves the highway, take note and plan some extra time: A construction project is taking place over the weekend that closes I-35 just south of Mesaba Avenue. Vehicle traffic on I-35 will be detoured on I-535 to Garfield Ave to Railroad St to 5th Ave W. More details about the closure can be found here.
Location and Parking
Marshall Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is located on the UMD campus at 1215 Ordean Ct, Duluth, MN 55812. Free parking is available nearby in lot G, a short flat walk from the front door of the theater. To drop people off at the doors to the theater, drive to the roundabout at the end of Ordean Court. There are a limited number of accessible parking spaces available there as well.

Theater Information
The house will open approximately 30 minutes before the show starts. Tickets will be available for purchase at the lobby box office approximately 1 hour before the show starts. The show is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes long, plus a 20 minute intermission.
Enjoy a refreshment in the lobby before the show or during intermission! On Friday, you can purchase wine, beer, and cocktails at the lobby bar. On Sunday, The Historic Scott House will be selling lemonade, cookies, and bars.
The theater is air conditioned, but the lobby is not – layers encouraged!
MPAC has a LOT of doors that go from the lobby into the house – 12, to be exact! Reference the seating section on your ticket to determine which door to use. The artist rendering of the seating map below shows the section layout, with door numbers labeled in blue. Ushers will be stationed at all the doors to help patrons find their seats.
