Jessica Schroeder

Jessica Schroeder is an Assistant Professor of Music at The College of St. Scholastica, where she teaches applied and class piano, directs the String Orchestra, and serves as Music Department Program Director. She is also the organist and pianist at Pilgrim Congregational Church. Before joining the faculty at CSS, Jessica taught at Denfeld High School in Duluth, MN and at MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis, MN. In 2024, she launched the annual Family Music Series of concerts at CSS, providing family-friendly opportunities to introduce young children to classical music.
An active performer and collaborator, Jessica has worked with various local ensembles, including Borealis Chamber Artists, the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, and the Duluth Playhouse. She holds a D.M.A. degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Minnesota where she studied with Timothy Lovelace. When not teaching or playing, Jessica can be found reading, doing art projects with her daughters, and trying not to kill her houseplants.
