Little Opera of the North

Now in its sixth season, Little Opera of the North is a program from Lyric Opera of the North that brings professional opera to elementary school students throughout Northern Minnesota.

Four professional singers, one pianist, a set, costumes and props arrive at the school, set up, and rehearse with their opera chorus — 16 students from the school! Then the LOON cast and their student chorus perform for the rest of the school, along with invited guests.

Little LOON thanks RBC Foundation and USBank Foundation for sponsoring this season’s tour!
