Trevor Lemon-Todd

Trevor Lemon-Todd, tenor, keeps busy as a performer, director, voice teacher, and nerd. Originally from Kansas City, he has been pleased to call Minnesota since 2018, in which time he has performed with many local acts and theaters, including An Opera Theatre, Guthrie Theater, Skylark Opera Theatre, Raison d’Être Opéra, Minnesota Opera, Opera on the Lake, and Big Blue Theatre.

They are pleased to return to Duluth for another production. Previous performances in Duluth include Messiah with Borealis Chamber Artists and Speed Dating Tonight! with Lyric Opera of the North. They have also participated in LOON’s “Little LOON” educational outreach tour, performing as Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance.

An enthusiastic singer of new music-theater, Lemon-Todd has previously sung on the world premiers of Johnny Skeeky (Theater Latté Da) and Edward Tulane (Minnesota Opera). In the fall of 2026, Lemon-Todd will perform in the premiere of The Many Deaths of Laila Starr. This will add to the growing list of collaborations with Minnesota Opera, including singing in the choruses of La Rondine, Silent Night, La Traviata, Edward Tulane, Don Giovanni, La fille du regiment, and La bohème. 

As an educator and music director, Lemon-Todd is a frequent collaborator with Graceful Monsters Educational Theatre Collective. He is also a private voice teacher and music instructor. Recently, they co-founded Changing Voice Collective, a group of teachers working to keep voice services accessible to all, with a focus on trans and gender noncomforming individuals. In 2025, Changing Voice Collective produced Songs from an Unmade Bed in collaboration with The Hive Collective.

Favorite roles include Manrico (Il Trovatore), The Defendant (Trial By Jury), and Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus).
