Emma Gustafson

Emma is a freelance designer, wig builder, hair stylist, and makeup artist based out of the Twin Cities area. She has been working professionally in hair, makeup, and wigs for theater since 2018 and has been lucky enough to work with many incredible companies in her home state of Minnesota such as; Minnesota Opera, Theatre Latte Da, Guthrie Theater, History Theatre, Children’s Theatre Company, Ten Thousand Things, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Lakes Area Music Festival, and more. Emma is thrilled to now be adding LOON to the list! She has also enjoyed working across the country with various notable companies including; Santa Fe Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Geva Theater, Boston Lyric Opera, Annapolis Opera, Utah Shakespeare Festival and Utah Opera. Emma’s education includes a cosmetology license from Aveda Institute Minneapolis, training as an apprentice in wigs at Santa Fe Opera, and a BA in Theatrical Design from Augsburg University.
