Alex Flinner, Lighting Design

Originally from St. Paul, Alex Flinner (Lighting Design) attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, graduating with a BA in Theater and a Music Minor.  Since graduating, he has been involved with many productions in the area, ranging from playing bass in Cabaret, Parade, and Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up, to designing lights for The Playhouse’s Neverending Story and Wise Fool’s Fezziwig’s Feast. Alex has designed lighting for LOON’s productions of Gianni Schicchi/Cavalleria Rusticana, The Mikado, Amahl and the Night Visitors, and La Traviata.  He also worked with UMD’s Voyageurs program at Lincoln Park School.
