Amber Burns

This is Amber’s debut working with LOON. Amber Burns has a BFA in Arts Education and a MLS degree in Arts Development and Program Management. Formerly the Artistic Director for the Duluth Playhouse Family Theatre, Amber is now the Director of Community Impact and Partnerships at the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation. She has been teaching visual art, dance and theater in the Duluth community for several years and currently is a faculty member at the MN Ballet and 218 Dance Project. Other recent & favorite projects that Amber has worked on include: Winterwonderettes (Boat Club Productions), Celebrity Dance Challenge (MN Ballet), Shrek (Marshall School), Hadestown (East High School), Dance TV (Zeitgeist) Dances on the Lakewalk (Gichi-ode’ Akiing), Xanadu (NorShor), Matilda  (Playhouse), Frozen JR (Playhouse), Newsies (Playhouse), Grease (Norshor), Sweet Charity (Underground), American Idiot (Underground).
