Victoria Wright

Victoria Wright is a collaborative pianist recently based out of Duluth, Minnesota. She studied piano with Dr. Jay Hershberger and Dr. David Worth while doing her undergraduate studies in vocal music education at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She studied with Dr. Tyler Wottrich and Dr. Robert Groves during her graduate studies in Collaborative Piano at North Dakota State University in Fargo. She also sang soprano and toured nationally with The Concordia Choir, and served as section leader for three years in both The Concordia Choir and The Concordia Chapel Choir. At Concordia, Wright was awarded the Music Performance Scholarship in piano. She won the Senior Honors Soloist Concerto Competition in 2015 and was awarded the opportunity to perform with The Concordia Orchestra. Most recently, Wright has worked with NDSU Opera and performed Shostakovich’s piano quintet with members of the Prometheus Trio. This will be Wright’s first time working with Lyric Opera of the North.
