Luke Mosher

A native of Palmdale, California, Luke Mosher started his training at the age of 7 at the Antelope Valley Ballet. In 2019, he moved to Pennsylvania to join Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School where he expanded his repertoire with ballets such as Fredrick Franklin’s Tribute and August Bournonville’s Flower Festival. After two years in the school, Luke was named an apprentice by Artistic Director Susan Jaffe and danced with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre for three seasons, performing in full length classical ballets including George Balanchine’s Diamonds, Terrence Orr’s The Nutcracker, and Susan Jaffe’s Swan Lake, most notably performing as the Bluebird in excerpts from Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty on tour with the company. Luke has had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers such as Michael Pink, Jennifer Archibald, and Jae Man Joo. Among his contemporary repertoire he has most enjoyed performing in Barak Marshall’s Monger and Yoshiaki Nakano’s Catharsis. Luke is very excited to dance with Lyric Opera of the North!
