Lloyd Reshard, Jr.
Bass-Baritone Lloyd Reshard interprets roles on stage throughout the country including: Opera Orlando, Peach State Opera, Orchestra Miami among others. His 2021-22 season began with Opera Southwest as Blansac in Rossini’s La scala di seta followed by Il Commendatore in Fargo-Moorhead Opera’s innovative production of Don Giovanni. He made his debut as Michael in PenArts production of Murder Ballad by Juliana Nash and most recently performed as Sam in Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti for the 2022 Romanza Festivale in St. Augustine, Florida. In addition to roles this season, Lloyd has been a guest soloist for Master Chorale of South Florida’s Holiday Soiree and the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center’s biannual concert The Art of the Spiritual. This summer, Lloyd will make his debut with GLOW Lyric Theatre in Greenville, SC performing the roles of Amonasro in Elton John’s Aida and Reverend Williams in Frances Pollock’s new opera Stinney: An American Execution.
