Kyra Olson

Kyra Olson is originally from Wolcott, Connecticut where she began her training at Studio One and Triple Threat Dance Company. She danced competitively for seven years before deciding to focus primarily on ballet. After graduating high school, she attended Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts under the direction of Victoria Mazzarelli and graduated from their two year post-grad program. In 2018, she joined the Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company in Chicago, IL under Dolores Long and Victor Alexander. During her two years there she had the opportunity to travel and perform in Spain, Colombia and Mexico. Throughout the years she has attended various summer programs including Nutmeg Conservatory, Ruth Page International Dance Experience, Oklahoma City Ballet and Ballet Summer Workshop in Estonia where she performed in their Gala and was featured in works by Viki Bromberg Psihoyos, Konstantin Keykhel and Triinu Upkin. Since joining the Minnesota Ballet in 2020, she has had the opportunity to perform in Concourse by Petr Zahradnicek, From Here by Jennifer Miller and in Karl von Rabenau’s Sleepy Hollow and The Nutcracker. This will be her fourth season with Minnesota Ballet.
