Jacob Jonker

Originally from St. Paul, MN, Jacob Jonker has a Master’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and has lived in Duluth since 2008.  He has performed with Lyric Opera of the North, the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, Twin Ports Choral Project, Minnesota Guitar Society, and more.  Jacob also has pedagogy training in all 9 Suzuki guitar books and runs a private teaching studio under the name “Duluth Guitar Academy”, as well as holding teaching positions at UMD and UWS.
